About

Calcs for Life is a collection of free calculators for everyday questions about money, health, home projects, math, science and time. Every calculator runs in your browser, shows how the answer was worked out, and explains the formula behind it.

We build each calculator from standard, published formulas and check it against known answers. When a result depends on assumptions (a waste factor, an average density, a tax rate) the page says so and lets you change it.

Results are estimates for general information. For decisions with real consequences, confirm with a qualified professional.
