How it works
This calculator does two things. Add or subtract answers questions like "what date is 90 days from today?" or "what was the date 6 weeks before March 1?". Days between dates counts the days, weeks, months and years separating two dates.
Switch the count to business days to skip weekends, which is how many deadlines, shipping estimates and notice periods are counted. Public holidays are not removed, since they vary by employer and country.
When you add months, the calendar month changes and the day stays the same where it can: January 31 plus one month is February 28 (or 29 in a leap year). Leap years are handled automatically.
For a single job, the dedicated tools have more options: the date difference calculator can include the end date, the business days calculator handles holidays, and the add days calculator works with days only.
Formula
Result = start date + years and months on the calendar, then + (7 × weeks + days), skipping Saturdays and Sundays in business-day mode
Questions people ask
What date is 90 days from today?
Leave the start date blank (today), choose Add and enter 90 days. The result updates as you type, and you can switch to business days to count only Monday to Friday.
How do I count days between two dates?
Choose "Days between dates" and pick both dates. The count excludes the start date and includes the end date, so Monday to Wednesday is 2 days.
Are holidays counted as business days?
Yes, here they are, because holidays differ by employer and country. Subtract any holidays that fall in the range yourself, or use the business days calculator, which lets you list them.
